The sun not only supplies us with heat and light but also is an important energy provider and all that for free and sustainable. With some skills and creativity solar energy can be widely used in our everyday life.

Challenge:

Imagine you live in a place without electricity or the power supply in the city you live fails for a couple of days. All there is left as a possible source of energy is the sun. Construct a device which is able to use the power of the sun to melt wax and create nice wax figures.

Upgraded version for Young professionals: Construct a device which is able to use the power of the sun to bake bread and thus helps you to cook in times of no electricity.
